Main Negative Reviews:

Some guests felt that the rooms were on the smaller side, particularly for the price.
A few reviews mentioned that the hotel was slightly overpriced compared to other options in Hong Kong.
Someone said: When heading to the balcony, I bumped into a protruding wooden board at the foot of the bed. Upon checking under the bed, I found a large board sticking out significantly. Both my girlfriend and I hit it more than three times during our one-night stay, resulting in cuts and bruises. This issue makes me hesitant to stay here again. The front desk staff's attitude was just average, nothing special. Moreover, I still haven't received a refund for the deposit that was supposed to be returned.
The cleaning cart was parked in the fire escape, and it was filthy. No wonder the room wasn't clean, especially the bathroom. The floors were dirty, with dust everywhere. The sliding door to the bathroom had shelves inside that were covered in dust. It was absolutely horrifying.
Someone said: The only drawback was that the wireless charging for my phone frequently disconnected, so it didn't charge properly.
While mostly positive, a few guests felt that the breakfast options could be more varied or even empty when they arrived.

Overall Analysis

Cost: Approximately HKD 1,362 - HKD 2,200 per night depending on the season and room type.

AKI Hong Kong - MGallery is highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers. The hotel excels in service quality, cleanliness, and location. While the price is on the higher side, the overall experience justifies the cost, according to the majority of reviewers.

Is it Worth Visiting:

Yes, if you value a central location, modern design, good service, and are willing to pay a premium for these features.

But if you are concerned about Room size, potential design flaws that could affect your stay, or if breakfast or cleanliness are a top priority for you, then you may consider other options.
