Positive Points:

Superb fresh seafood, totally enjoyed the dining experience.
The sauces are amazing, and the seafood is super fresh.
Great service, the staff are attentive and friendly.
The ambiance is lively and perfect for group dining.
The Crab Bombdiggity is a must-try!
Best seafood boil I've had in Singapore.
Perfect spot for a casual yet high-quality meal.
The Boiler’s signature sauce is bursting with flavor.
Ideal place to celebrate special occasions with friends.
The lobster was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy.
The prices are reasonable.
The food arrived quickly and was really good. Ryan served us, and he was very cheerful, helpful, and frequently checked if everything was going well.
Really affordable and the portions are huge. One of the staff members, Maru, was fantastic! The service was quick, and the place was very clean.

Negative Points:

Someone said: We ordered 2 bags of Bombdiggity seafood, fish and chips, and some drinks. It said 1 bag could be shared by 4 people, but the portion was definitely small! We had a lot of sausages and clams in our bags, but very few shrimp, crabs, and mussels. As for the sauces, we ordered the signature sauce and the garlic butter, but the garlic butter was terrible—extremely bland and watery. We spent over $500 on this meal, so when we were still hungry in the end, I didn’t think it was worth it. However, the staff were friendly and nice, which is a plus.
The service was mediocre. The atmosphere felt cold and somewhat lacking.
Someone said: I wish the crabs were cracked more because they were hard to break apart.
The tables are a bit small, making it slightly uncomfortable to eat.
The price is a bit on the high side.
The interior can feel cramped when it's busy.
Someone said: The sauce was too overpowering; I couldn’t taste the seafood

Recommended Dishes:

  2. Sriracha Chili Cheese Fries

  3. Calamari Fritti

  4. Jumbo Crab Cakes

  5. Baby Back Ribs

Overall Analysis:

Per Capita Spending: Approximately SGD $50 to $80 depending on the items ordered and the size of the group. This price range includes main courses, side dishes, and drinks.

Taste: The BOILER @ Esplanade is praised for its fresh seafood and flavorful sauces. Many diners recommend the "Crab Bombdiggity" and the lobster as must-try dishes. However, some reviews mention that the seasoning can be too salty or overpowering.

Environment: The ambiance of the restaurant is described as lively and perfect for group dining. However, the noise level during peak hours and the cramped seating have been noted as drawbacks by some patrons.

Service Quality: Service at The BOILER is generally well-regarded, with many customers appreciating the attentiveness and friendliness of the staff. There are, however, occasional complaints about slow service during busy times.

Is it worth visiting?

Based on the aggregated reviews from Google and TripAdvisor, The BOILER @ Esplanade scores high, with a Google rating of 4.8/5 and a TripAdvisor rating of 4.5/5. The restaurant is highly recommended for seafood lovers who enjoy bold flavors and a hands-on dining experience.

However, considering the price point and the occasional issues with noise and wait times, it may not be the best option for those seeking a quiet or budget-friendly meal. If you're a seafood enthusiast and don’t mind the lively atmosphere, The BOILER @ Esplanade is certainly worth a visit.
