Positive Points:

The Tom Yum noodles were bursting with flavor—spicy, tangy, and full of fresh ingredients. The soup was incredibly rich, and I loved the generous portion sizes.
The restaurant had a cozy and welcoming vibe. The decor was simple but charming, giving off a very local feel. Perfect for a casual meal.
For the price, the food quality was outstanding. The dishes were affordable, especially considering the portion size and taste. A must-try if you're in the area.
The service was prompt, and the staff were very accommodating, even offering recommendations for first-timers. They made sure we had the best dining experience.
Despite the place being quite busy during lunch hours, the service was quick. The food came out hot and fresh within minutes, making it an excellent spot for a quick bite.
Although their Tom Yum Noodles are the highlight, they offer a wide range of other dishes, including steamed dumplings and stir-fried dishes. Everything I tried was delicious.
You could tell the ingredients were fresh—especially the seafood. The prawns in my Tom Yum were plump and perfectly cooked.
The portion sizes were huge! One bowl of Tom Yum noodles could easily fill you up, and the toppings were plentiful.
I visited with my family, and even though some of the dishes were spicy, they had milder options for children. The staff were very attentive to our needs.
The restaurant maintained a high level of cleanliness. The tables were spotless, and the open kitchen allowed us to see how the food was being prepared, which added to the overall trust and experience.

Negative Points:

While I love spicy food, the Tom Yum here was a bit too much for me. I wish they had asked for my spice preference beforehand.
The restaurant was packed, and it was difficult to find a seat. It can get quite noisy, which made it hard to enjoy the meal peacefully.
While the service was generally quick, during peak hours, it took a long time for our food to arrive. We had to wait around 30 minutes, which was a bit frustrating.
The seating arrangement was cramped, and we felt like we were eating on top of other guests. The tables were too close to each other.
There is limited parking near the restaurant, which can be inconvenient if you're driving. We had to park quite far away and walk.
I was disappointed to find out that they only accept cash, which was a hassle since I didn’t carry enough cash with me. They should consider accepting cards.
The restaurant is located in a narrow alley, and it was hard to locate. Some clearer signage would be helpful.
While the flavor was good, I found the Tom Yum soup to be quite oily. It felt a bit heavy, and I couldn’t finish the entire bowl.
I’ve been here a couple of times, and while the food is usually amazing, I had one experience where the noodles were overcooked, and the soup lacked its usual punch.
The chairs were hard and uncomfortable, especially if you plan to stay for a long meal. Not the best for relaxing and enjoying your food.

Food:

The food is the star of the show. The Tom Yum noodles are highly praised for their balance of sour, spicy, and savory flavors. Other dishes like the seafood stir-fry and dumplings also receive rave reviews. However, some diners found the spice levels overwhelming or the soup a bit too oily.

Environment:

The restaurant has a casual, cozy atmosphere, but it can get quite crowded during peak hours. Some guests found the seating arrangements too tight, and others mentioned noise levels being uncomfortable. Cleanliness was generally praised.

Service Quality:

The staff are generally friendly and prompt, though service can slow down when the restaurant is busy. The accommodating nature of the staff, especially towards families and first-time visitors, was frequently mentioned.

Is it worth visiting?

Sammitr Tomyum Noodle is worth visiting if you're a fan of spicy, flavorful Thai food, especially Tom Yum. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are generous. However, be prepared for a possible wait during peak hours, and make sure to bring cash. If you're sensitive to spice, you might want to ask for a milder version of their signature dishes. Despite minor drawbacks, the overall experience is very positive, and the food quality makes it worth a visit.
