Positive Points:

The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the flavors were spot-on. The prawns were succulent, and the crab curry was divine. The balance of spices was perfect.
Every dish was a work of art. The plating was exquisite, and you could tell that a lot of care was put into the presentation. It made the meal feel special.
The staff were friendly and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed and even explained the dishes to us. The service really made the experience stand out.
The restaurant had a modern, elegant vibe, with soft lighting and comfortable seating. It’s perfect for a romantic dinner or a special occasion.
If you love seafood, this place is a must-visit. The variety is impressive, and they offer everything from oysters to lobster. The seafood platter was particularly outstanding.
The portion sizes were larger than I expected, especially for a fine dining restaurant. We left feeling full and satisfied, which isn’t always the case with high-end places.
The fusion of Thai and other Southeast Asian flavors was really interesting. Dishes like the lemongrass grilled squid and spicy tamarind prawns were bursting with flavor.
For the quality of the food and the portion sizes, I’d say this place offers good value. It’s not the cheapest, but you definitely get what you pay for.
I went here with my partner, and it was the perfect setting for a romantic evening. The ambiance was intimate, and the food was excellent.
The environment was very clean even though felt a bit cramped.

Negative Points:

While the food was good, I felt that the prices were a bit too high for what was offered. There are other seafood restaurants in Bangkok that offer similar quality for less.
The food took a long time to arrive, even though the restaurant wasn’t fully booked. We waited almost 40 minutes for our main course, which was frustrating.
The tables were quite small for the amount of food we ordered. We had to juggle plates around, and it felt a bit cramped.
We came with a group of 10, and it was difficult to get a table. The seating arrangements aren’t ideal for large parties, so I wouldn’t recommend coming here with a big group.
As someone who doesn’t eat seafood, I found the menu quite limiting. They didn’t have many vegetarian or non-seafood options, which was disappointing.
Some reviews mentioned the seafood were not fresh as expected.

Food:

The food at SEA Bangkok is highly praised for its fresh seafood and bold flavors. The combination of Southeast Asian spices and high-quality ingredients creates a memorable dining experience. However, some guests felt the prices were slightly high for what was offered, and a few mentioned issues with food temperature and waiting times.

Environment:

The restaurant’s atmosphere is modern and elegant, making it an ideal spot for special occasions or romantic dinners. While the ambiance is generally praised, some guests found it a bit noisy during peak hours. The seating arrangement is better suited for small groups or couples rather than large parties.

Service Quality:

Service at SEA Bangkok is generally noted as attentive and friendly. The staff are quick to offer recommendations and assist with orders, though there were occasional complaints about long wait times for food during busy periods.

Is it worth visiting?

SEA Bangkok is definitely worth a visit if you’re a seafood lover looking for a fine dining experience in Bangkok. The fresh seafood, unique Southeast Asian flavors, and elegant ambiance make it a standout choice. While it is on the pricier side, the quality of the food and the overall dining experience justify the cost for most visitors. However, if you’re dining on a budget or prefer quieter, more intimate settings, you might want to visit during off-peak hours. Additionally, if you’re not a seafood fan, the limited menu options might not be ideal for you.
