Day 1: Bangkok's Urban Charm

After a smooth 1.5-hour transfer from Suvarnabhumi International Airport, I checked into the comfortable Hotel JAL City Bangkok, a convenient base for exploring the city.


Lunch: My first taste of Thai cuisine was at HERE TAI Restaurant (map)

where I enjoyed a delicious crab fried rice and grilled river prawns for around THB 750.

Afternoon: A short 30-minute taxi ride took me to the bustling Central World shopping mall (map) a haven for fashion, electronics, and souvenirs. I spent the afternoon browsing the department stores and indulging in a delightful lunch at the 7th-floor food court. (Cost: around THB 500-3,000)


Evening: A short walk from the mall, I visited the serene Erawan Shrine (map) a beautiful Hindu temple dedicated to Brahma.

Recommended: Watch traditional Thai dance, Purchase small wooden elephants for luck


I then enjoyed a relaxing Thai herbal ball massage at One More Thai Massage (map) a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.

Day 2: Bangkok's Cultural Gems

Morning: After a leisurely breakfast at Breakfast Story Phrom Phong (map) I embarked on a journey to the Grand Palace (map) a magnificent complex of temples and buildings. The entrance fee was THB 500, and I spent a fascinating hour exploring the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Phra Mondop, and Chakri Maha Prasat Throne Hall.

Recommended: Visit Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of The Emerald Buddha), See the Royal Pantheon (Prasat Phra Dhepbidorn), Explore Phra Mondop, Admire the Golden Stupa (Phra Siratana Chedi), Check out the Model of Angkor Wat

Lunch: A short 15-minute walk took me to RONGROS Thai Restaurant (map) where I enjoyed a delicious lunch with stunning views of Wat Arun temple across the river.

Recommended: Green Curry with Rib Eye Beef, Glass Noodle Salad, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Rongros Fried Rice with Salted Egg and Grilled Prawns


Afternoon: Next, I visited the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (map)

home to the largest indoor reclining Buddha statue. The entrance fee was THB 200.

Recommended: Drop coins in 108 bronze bowls, Visit Ubosot Hall


Evening: After a delightful dinner at a local restaurant, I enjoyed the dazzling Golden Dome Cabaret Show (map) a vibrant and entertaining performance.


I then explored the lively Ratchada Train Night Market (map) a treasure trove of street food, souvenirs, and entertainment.


Day 3: Bangkok's Modern Marvels

Morning: I started my day with a delicious breakfast at Bar Storia del Caffè (map) savoring their coffee and pastries.


Afternoon: I spent the morning at the Erawan Museum (map) a magnificent complex showcasing Thai art and culture. The entrance fee was THB 500.

Recommended: View the three-headed elephant statue, Admire the hand-painted glass ceiling, Visit the pavilions and shrines.


I then explored the nearby Siam Paragon shopping mall (map) and visit Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World (map) (Total cost: around THB 1,000-2,000)

Recommended For Ocean World: Visit the Rainforest zone, Watch the 4D movie, Enjoy the Glass Bottom Boat ride,etc.


Evening: I enjoyed a delightful dinner at Go-Ang Pratunam Chicken Rice (map), a popular spot for authentic Hainanese chicken rice. (Around THB 100-500)

Recommended: Hainanese Chicken Rice, Chicken Liver and Gizzard, Braised Pork

Day 4: Pattaya's Coastal Charm

Morning: After a 2.5-hour journey to Pattaya, I checked into the Wyndham Jomtien Pattaya hotel, a beachfront oasis.


Afternoon: I spent the afternoon exploring the Pattaya Floating Market (map) a unique experience with traditional Thai food, crafts, and performances.

Recommended: Grilled Seafood, Pad Thai (stir-fried rice noodles), Ka Nom Krok (coconut pancake), Foi Thong (golden threads), Thong Yip (sweet egg yolk), Traditional Thai Desserts.


I then visited the Tiger Park (map) where I got up close and personal with these majestic animals. (Cost:Around THB 600-2,000)

Recommended: Interact with tigers of various ages, Take photos with tigers


Evening: I enjoyed a delicious seafood dinner at King Seafood (map) savoring their famous curry crab and grilled river prawns. (Cost: Around THB 500-1,000)

Recommended: Fresh Grilled Seafood, Thai-style Raw Shrimp, Mixed Seafood Platter

Day 5: Pattaya's Relaxing Vibes

Morning: I spent the morning relaxing on the beautiful Jomtien Beach (map) enjoying the sun, sand, and clear blue waters.


Afternoon: I visited the Art In Paradise 3D museum (map) a fascinating experience with lifelike 3D paintings. I then enjoyed a relaxing massage at Grace Spa (map) Around THB 1,000-4,000


Evening: I explored the Jomtien Night Market (map) a bustling hub of street food, souvenirs, and entertainment. (Around THB 500-3,000)


Day 6: Pattaya's Final Touches

Morning: After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel,

I spent the afternoon exploring the luxurious Icon Siam shopping mall (map)

a haven for fashion, dining, and entertainment. I then enjoyed a delicious lunch at one of the mall's many restaurants and bought souvenirs in SookSiam.

Departure: My journey came to an end with a 1.5-hour transfer back to Suvarnabhumi Airport, leaving me with a heart full of memories and a longing to return to this beautiful country.
